Getting to School

Â鶹ÊÓƵ is well serviced by a wide variety of transport systems from all surrounding suburbs, including trains, school buses, public buses, and bike paths. The Mentone Railway Station is only a five-minute walk from our School.

In addition to the public PTV services available, Â鶹ÊÓƵ now provides nine private MGS Ventura bus routes for students.

We have a number of bus routes servicing our extended region – please view the updated route maps below before purchasing your bus passes:

Bus tickets can be purchased online:

  • $300 per term across all services in 2024
  • $7.50 per casual one way ticket in 2024 (please purchase two for return trips)

NOTE: Casual passes will only be available on routes that have space – this depends on the total number of term passes sold in advance. If there is no listing for casual passes on the purchase page, there are none available at the present time.

Public Transport

Suburbs not covered by the private bus routes are connected by public transport.
Mentone Railway Station is on the Frankston to Melbourne City train line. Â鶹ÊÓƵ is a five-minute walk from Mentone Railway Station.

Buses FAQs

The Ventura Tracker app is available for Android and iPhone via Google Play and the App Store.

Use the email you have registered with the School. This will allow you to log in, select students from the menu and then select your child’s name. From here you can turn on boarding and exiting notifications.

To view the location of a bus first select a route. The location of all buses on that route are indicated with a drawing pin icon.

Parents will be able to view their child’s location if they have touched on to a bus using their student ID card. This information is only accessible by the child’s parents and the School itself.

To view the locations of bus stops, select a route. Bus stops on the route are indicated with a small blue icon.

Tapping on a bus stop icon will display arrival time information for that stop.

If a student forgets to tap on they won’t be displayed as having caught the bus. If they forget to tap off they will be signed out automatically at the end of the shift.

If a student forgets their ID card, they can sign in using the first few digits of their surname.

A student can tap on/off at any stop not only their regular pick up/drop off point. If a student needs to catch a different bus than normal it is best to enquire with Â鶹ÊÓƵ Reception to ensure there are seats available via:
